How To Use Custom Permalinks For Blogger Posts

          When writing an article, Blogger automatically create a permanent link (URL pointing to a blog post) to the latter according to its title.

If you prefer a personalized permanent link, select "Permanent Link" in the "Message Settings".

While you keep the ability to automatically create URLs for your articles, personalized creation option ensures better stability of the URL.

For example, as Blogger automatically creates the URL from the information contained in the title of your article, if you change the title, the URL will be too. This can result in broken links and a decrease in the number of visitors to your blog.

If you click Permanent Link, you'll see that the automatic publishing option of articles is selected by default. To create your own URL for this specific item, select Custom and enter your new URL.

If you have written the article in March 2016, your new URL would look like this:

http://www.searchengineland.tk/2016/03/Custom-URL.html

The bold part is the customizable part of the URL.

If you choose Automatic, Blogger generates the URL from the title of your article.

For example, suppose you have created an article in March 2016 and that you have entitled " Custom Permalinks For Blogger Posts ." Its URL will be as follows:
